Quick Draw of Tombstone History is a snippet of Tombstone history

On May 1, 1880, John P. Clum printed the inaugural issues of the Tombstone Epitaph. Initially, the Epitaph operated out of a tent. As the town expanded, it was relocated to a building on Fremont Street next to the courthouse where the Earp's with friend Doc Holliday inquest took place after the O.K. Carrol gunfight.

Clum Later became Tombstone's mayor and used the Epitaph to promote mining and his Republican political views.

In the 1900s, the Tombstone Epitaph had new owners and was moved to its new location on Fifth Street, which is now a museum, and you can see the original hand press. You can also get a monthly subscription to the Tombstone Epitaph.

The History of the topics this newspaper covered during Tombstone's peak is fascinating.
